A Bit About Me

My whole life, I've always known that I wanted to make video games.  Being raised in small town in West Virginia, there weren't many resources available to pursue this passion, so I carved my own path forward: teaching myself to code and create video games from a young age.  I have an immense respect for gaming as an artform, and I feel the stories and experiences they're able to provide are simply unmatched.  Some of my favorites are The Last of Us, Bioshock, Firewatch, and Kingdom Hearts II

P.S.: My dog's name is Boomer, and we're best friends.   If you don't hire me, he'll be very sad :(

FYRE Games is the independent game studio conceptualized by Conner Rush at the age of 10 in 2011.  After teaching himself Unity and releasing hos first game in 2016, FYRE Games has slowly grown into a force to be reckoned with!  The studio still remains a one-man operation, but quality, critical reception, and notoriety continue to increase.

Conner was contracted to make an installment for Dread XP's anthology release Dread X Collection 5.  Working under this renowned publisher, Conner developed We Never Left, which was met with critical praise.  He was then hired onto Dread XP's staff to work in the QA department, contributing to titles such as My Friendly Neighborhood (2023), Sucker for Lover 2 (2024), and Dread Delusion (2024).

After graduating from college, Conner was contracted to work at Schell Games in Pittsburgh, PA as a full-time engineer, and was brought on specifically to work on the performance team of a large, open-world VR title that has yet to be announced.
